We make a complex industry as simple as possible for our partners, enabling them with a commercial platform to sell the latest technologies and solutions to the resilient UK SMB market.
The Mobile & Hardware Tower have 50 team members supporting over 1,500 partners selling our Wholesale and Network Billed Mobile propositions and Cellular IoT. Devices are a critical component when delivering mobile solutions and our Hardware store gives access to thousands of devices.
The role of Partner Enablement Manager is a key position within the Mobile Tower at Giacom. You will be responsible for providing “best in class” partner enablement and mentoring to our Channel Partners. The key functions of the role include contact from the early stages of new partner engagement, business assessment and building a framework for partner onboarding. Partner training and early sales pipeline support also form part of the enablement framework.
You will work alongside the Mobile sales team whilst also providing input to the various Giacom product teams using your market, product and partnering experience and expertise. Whilst working with both the Mobile sales and product teams, and both potential and existing Partners, you will strive to be perceived as a trusted adviser across all aspects of the Mobile and Hardware portfolios.
By working with Partners, you will interact directly with all levels of personnel from the business owner / CEO / MD and Technical Director through to junior sales and operational staff. Working alongside our partners, using your product insight and expertise, you will assist them with designing their solutions and presenting them to their end-user clients, ensuring the features, benefits and deployment options of our Mobile products are fully recognised. Consequently, you will play a key part in helping both Giacom and our Partners achieve their respective growth aspirations.
What you'll be doing
- Provide Partner Engagement support to Partners including:
- Pre and Post onboarding support
- Mentoring and Training
- Readiness assessments and establishment guidance
- Platform training – in person and online
- Driving revenue growth with on site support
- Partner Sales and Operations training
- Product guidance including industry best practice
- Assist in the enhancement of the Partner Success Programme.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations to the Mobile sales and product teams.
- Be an advocate of the complete Giacom portfolio, including Mobile, Cloud, Connectivity, UC and Software, promoting them internally and within the wider Channel community.
- Establish and develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships, with the operational and senior personnel with Giacom Partners.
- Work alongside Partners assisting them in developing and designing product solutions to meet their end-user client’s requirements.
- Assisting Partners, once opportunities have been identified, in winning the potential business.
- Produce and deliver advanced sales presentations for the Giacom Mobile sales personnel and Partners both in person and remotely.
- Offer consultation visits and advanced workshops for Partners sales and operational staff.
- Develop and maintain an expert understanding of Giacom Mobile, Cellular IoT and Hardware portfolios and applications.
This role involves nationwide travel including overnight stays.
Your experience
- Proven experience of demonstrating a high level of expertise and experience in Mobile Airtime and Cellular IoT and an ability to translate some technical products into "customer language" and demonstrate how this is achieved to your partners, preferably in a previous sales support or similar role.
- Experience in a similar role building and delivering tailored enablement functions and / or Field Based Account Management / Director roles.
- Proven experience of working with clients to capture functional requirements to translate into solution designs.
- Experience of working in the Mobile and Communications channel supporting resellers.
- Detailed knowledge of the UK Mobile Industry and Cellular IoT technical solutions and implementations.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to work and capable of working effectively under pressure.
- An ability to demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills; be an effective communicator across all levels of the organisation.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team with limited guidance.
- This role involves national travel, some overnight stays and a flexible approach to working hours so a full UK driving license and a flexible outlook are key requirements of this role.
