Account Director - New Business Connectivity
Supporting a UK-wide network of over 5,000 local, expert technology providers, Giacom makes it really simple for technology resellers and MSPs to access everything they need to create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses.
Are you an experienced, results-driven sales professional with a passion for creating and nurturing partner relationships? We're looking for a skilled Account Director who will be responsible for identifying new Giacom Connectivity Partners through a combination of upselling and cross-selling to an existing reseller base and acquiring business from new resellers. This pivotal role is your opportunity to shape the future of Connectivity within Giacom.
With a proven track record in account leadership and new business development, you'll bring energy, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to achieving results.
What you'll be doing
- To build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to support the achievement of sales targets in Connectivity.
- Deliver against set sales targets, key business objectives and individual key performance indicators.
- Create Account Development Plans for each Partner.
- Create and deliver successful customer presentations and proposals at all levels.
- Identify new sales opportunities to maximise growth and revenue within your base of partners and associated territory or market segment as well as other areas of the Giacom portfolio of products and services.
Your Qualifications
- Demonstrable sales experience in the competitive Connectivity Telecoms partner environment.
- An up-to-date awareness of the channel.
- Demonstrable evidence of achieving / exceeding targets in the indirect space.
- Extensive knowledge of the connectivity market.
- Experience in working within the wholesale marketplace.
- Experience of successfully selling into various reseller types and size.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate and generate business at all levels.
- Ability to galvanise internal resources to assist in achievement of your sales targets.
