We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our Commissions Payable team. If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and ensuring processes run smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career within a fast-paced and supportive finance environment.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our Partners are paid accurately and on time, helping us maintain strong and trusted relationships across our channel community. Working closely with Finance, Sales, Support teams and network providers, you'll become an integral part of the commission and reconciliation process, supporting activity that directly impacts our partners and the wider business.
Please note, this role is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity created to support a significant finance remediation and improvement programme.
What you’ll be doing
Completing weekly and monthly partner reconciliations to strict deadlines.
Investigating and resolving account and commission-related queries.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external providers to validate data and resolve discrepancies.
Supporting the self-billing process through our internal systems.
Producing management information and reports as required.
Building, maintaining and analysing Excel datasets using functions such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
Using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks and support data analysis.
Identifying and reporting any potential fraudulent activity in line with company procedures.
Contributing to a culture of compliance, accuracy and continuous improvement.
Your Experience
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working with Excel and large datasets.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ability to work independently and knowing when to seek support.
Resilience and adaptability in a busy environment.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
