Senior Agile Delivery Lead (Project & Programme Leadership)

As a Senior Agile Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that delivery happens successfully within your assigned teams. You will focus on meeting programme goals, agreed milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will lead delivery for one or more Agile teams and may also provide line management where required.
You will help teams work efficiently, remove obstacles, and improve delivery processes so that work stays on track. Working closely with the Agile Delivery Manager, you will coach and develop team members, strengthen collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Programme functions, and build positive relationships with stakeholders. Through strong leadership and people management, you will support a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that teams deliver outcomes aligned with business priorities
What you'll be doing
Lead delivery for multiple teams, ensuring goals, milestones, and KPIs are achieved.
Fulfil line management duties where required, including performance reviews, objective setting, and development planning.
Take ownership of delivery outcomes within one or more Agile teams.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies to ensure meetings are focused and productive.
Align team delivery with the wider programme roadmap and milestones.
Track and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, supporting mitigation planning and escalation.
Coach and mentor team members in Agile delivery practices and communication.
Manage blockers and escalations independently, ensuring visibility to leadership.
Communicate delivery updates, risks, and priorities clearly and in a timely manner.
Your Experience
Strong experience leading Agile delivery across multiple software teams.
Proven people management and team-development capability.
Skilled in managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
Clear and confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience coaching and mentoring delivery professionals.
Competent in using Agile metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve performance.
Experience working at programme level or across multiple delivery streams.
Ability to facilitate effective discussions between Product and Engineering teams.
Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and similar delivery tools.
